The San Francisco 49ers waived the following five players on Sunday: WR Mark Bradford, WR Chris Francies, K Alex Romero, CB Carlos Thomas, and CB Jahi Word-Daniels.

Francies, who has decent size, could find some interest around the league. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers in 2006.
